Terms & Conditions
The English version of these terms is the governing version.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and participation in the Dinner in the Sky Portugal experience operated by Asteroide Misterioso – Unipessoal Lda., NIPC 517482762, with registered office at Rua Armando Cortez, n.º 1, Edifício Interface, R/C, Escritório C, 2770-233 Paço de Arcos, Portugal (“Organizer”, “we”, “our” or “us”).
By making a reservation through www.dinnerinthesky.pt or any authorised booking platform, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions together with our Cancellation & Booking Policy.
1. Bookings
1.1 A booking is confirmed once the required payment has been successfully received and a confirmation email has been issued.
1.2 Each booking is valid only for the date, time and session stated on the booking confirmation.
1.3 One booking corresponds to one participant.
1.4 Seating is allocated by the Organizer based on operational requirements. Specific seats cannot be requested or guaranteed.
1.5 Tickets may not be resold or used for commercial purposes without the Organizer's prior written consent. We reserve the right to cancel any booking obtained or transferred in breach of this provision.
2. Prices and Payment
2.1 All prices are displayed in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT.
2.2 A non-refundable booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. The applicable payment terms are described in our Cancellation & Booking Policy.
2.3 Promotional codes and special offers cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
2.4 We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors before confirming a booking.
3. Cancellation and Date Changes
Cancellation, refunds, booking deposits and date changes are governed exclusively by our published Cancellation & Booking Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms & Conditions.
4. Participation Requirements
For safety reasons, participants must:
- be at least 1.20 metres tall;
- be at least 18 years old, or be accompanied by or have written consent from a parent or legal guardian where permitted by the Organizer;
- not be pregnant;
- not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance that may impair judgement or physical ability;
- comply with all instructions given by the Organizer and event staff.
The Organizer reserves the right to refuse participation where a participant's condition or behaviour may compromise safety. In such cases, no refund will be due.
5. Arrival
Participants should arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled session.
Late arrivals may be refused participation if check-in or the safety briefing has already concluded. Missed sessions due to late arrival are treated as no-shows.
6. Safety
Participation in Dinner in the Sky involves being lifted to a significant height by a certified crane system.
All participants must:
- wear the provided safety restraints correctly;
- remain seated throughout the experience unless instructed otherwise;
- follow all safety instructions issued by staff;
- refrain from any behaviour that may endanger themselves or others.
Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in immediate removal from the experience without refund.
7. Changes, Suspension or Cancellation by the Organizer
The Organizer may postpone, interrupt or cancel an experience due to adverse weather conditions, technical issues, force majeure, governmental restrictions or any circumstance affecting safety.
Where the Organizer cancels an experience before it begins, customers will be offered either:
- a transfer to another available date; or
- a refund in accordance with the Cancellation & Booking Policy.
The Organizer is not responsible for travel expenses, accommodation costs or any indirect losses incurred by participants.
8. Liability
Participation is voluntary and at the participant's own risk.
The Organizer shall be liable only to the extent required under applicable Portuguese law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Participants remain responsible for ensuring that they are medically fit to participate.
9. Photography and Video
Photographs and video recordings may be taken during the experience for promotional and marketing purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in such material, please inform a member of staff before your session.
Personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
10. Intellectual Property
All content displayed on www.dinnerinthesky.pt, including trademarks, logos, photographs, videos, graphics and text, is owned by or licensed to the Organizer and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Portuguese law.
Consumers may also use any mandatory dispute resolution mechanisms available under Portuguese or European consumer legislation.
For any complaints, please use the official electronic complaints platform at www.livroreclamacoes.pt. Complaints must be submitted under the company name “Asteroide Misterioso – Unipessoal Lda.”
